don't really get a lot out of the actual fight in this one weirdly (or am maybe a bit averse to this eras idea of stylizing it the xbox simulation of rocky lol) but overall this one is much more successful than V at replicating the small-scale dramatic elements of the original that it wants to and there's no question that rocky is one of the purest, sweetest character's ever conceived for the screen and at the time this was a very nice sendoff for him. so considerate, always doing nice things for people, making their lives better in small ways, adopting animals, taking care of his drunk and sad and lonely friends, and then as always he beats the absolute shit out of some dude at the end as a form of therapy. random unrelated tidbit: shot by the guy who shot norbit.
